Days One & Two. First Elimination!

 Day One: Mingling

Welcome ladies. This here will be your home for the next nine days. You'll find yourself living in a bit of a dorm-like situation (which may or may not be all that bad depending on who your roommates are) but these are the prices you pay when you play for love. 

Today is dedicated to mingling. You will spend the day in the great hall with your housemates, and of course, Hayden Brooks. Use this time wisely, as you will not ever get this much time again solely for schmoozing up Hayden.

And the mingling begins. We see the social butterfly emerge in Kira as she is the first to approach Hayden. (Uh, Danielle, what are you doing? You're supposed to be talking to the bachelor, not the wall.) 

Kira couldn't keep the interest of Hayden for long. He politely excused himself and made his way over to Mollie. Hearts flutter as Mollie asks Hayden what his astrological sign is and then says, "Looks like you and I are meant to be!"

The two of them got some jealous stares from most of the ladies, except for Kathryn. She seemed overly happy that Mollie was getting all the attention from Hayden. (Just a head's up Kaythrn, you can't win the heart of Hayden by letting all the other girls talk to him first. Get in there girl!)

Meanwhile, Laney got so unbelievably bored that she passed out. Danielle and Tahlia (take a good look. It's hard to get pictures of this one) seemed very concerned while Nadia and Elsie are laughing in the background. That's not very nice, girls. 

After spending a good two hours talking to Mollie, Hayden and Elsie share a heartwarming "Shaka Brah". Oh the things you witness in The Bachelor House.

The day of mingling has finally come to an end, and Hayden has yet to formally meet everyone with the exception of Kira, Mollie, and Elsie. As for the three of you,  you're off to a good start. Not being afraid to talk to the bachelor is a key step in winning his heart.

Since Mollie and Hayden have the highest relationship score thus far Mollie earned herself a date with Hayden.

Date summary: Hayden watched TV while Mollie cooked and then ate (by herself) tofu dogs. Alright Hayden. We understand you don't like tofu but the woman cooked for you. Where are your manners?

Day Two: Challenge One - Soccer

Today is the day of the first Challenge. The girls will have to compete in a tournament style of soccer against each other. Each will take a turn being the goalie and the shooter, and each shooter will get four shots. Those with the most shots will advance. The girls were randomly paired to start it off and will progress to play the winners of each bracket. For the preliminary round we have this order:

1. Marcie vs. Natalie
2. Mollie vs. Tahlia
3. Nadia vs. Elsie
4. Danielle vs. Laney
5. Kathryn vs. Kira

Let the games begin.

Marcie: 1
Natalie: 2

Tahlia teasing people like usual. Tahlia, you're really not here to make friends are you?

Mollie: 1

Nadia showed up in her everyday attire and high heels. She did warn us that she does things differently. This round was tied so both Nadia and Elsie will get a chance to advance.

Nadia: 1

Elsie: 1

Our camera crew wasn't able to catch any more pictures of the preliminary round so here were the scores:

Danielle: 2

Laney: 0

Kathryn: 0

Kira: 3

We have one picture of the qualifying rounds. Nadia has dressed for success. Her formal dress and high heals didn't hold her back in anyway though.

Here's the scores for the other two brackets:

Tahlia: 2 (No need to scream and kick the goalie post, Tahlia. You're only hurting yourself.)

Kira: 3

Elsie: 2

This is where the brackets got a bit complicated. Our producers talked it through and here's how the semi-finals went:

Natalie vs. Nadia and here's the score:

Natalie: 1

Nadia: 4

For the final round Nadia and Kira went head to head. Sadly Kira didn't stand a chance against Nadia and her lucky high heeled shoes.

Nadia: 3

Kira: 0

This means that Nadia has won herself a date with Hayden. But first, it is time for THE FIRST ELIMINATION!

Elimination

It's the end of the second day and time for our first elimination. At this time the girls with the lowest relationship scores are Danielle and (not so surprisingly) Tahlia. 

The two girls show up in their best dresses. Tahlia checks out her competition (is she finally realizing that her temper may have cost her the love of her life?)

Hayden simply has to walk up to the girl he wishes to keep in the house. Which one will it be?He smiles at both girls and then walks up to Danielle.

Sorry Tahlia. Thank you for participating in The Bachelor Challenge, but you have been eliminated. Please pack your bags and leave the house. (Good riddance! What? I'm not the only one thinking it. The only thing she managed to accomplish during her short stay here was yelling at every single living being on the property.)

So there you have it. Tahlia has been the first to be eliminated. Probably due to the fact that she screamed and yelled at Hayden only hours earlier.

Date summary: Nadia showed Hayden some funny cat videos. They shared some leftover tofu dogs. (There you go Hayden. Way to take one for the team). And then they went to bed... in separate rooms. Looks like it's another uneventful date night for the bachelor.
